About Me

I am a 25 years old French lady living in Montreal at the moment!

I am a restless girl, always eager for new experiences, I want to try everything and to learn new things all the time! I love any outdoor adventures, hiking, kayaking, exploring...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting new people! I think meeting local people is the best way to learn about a culture and a country! I have done quite a bit of couchsurfing around the world and it has (almost) always been a fun and inspiring experience :)

Interests

I am fond of sports of any kinds, I practice running and CrossFit in my everyday's life, I love yoga and I am trying to include it more in my practices; I like swimming and cycling, and I can't consider holidays without outdoor activities like hiking, biking, surfing, kayaking, snowboarding and so on ;)

I like photography a lot, and I often shoot random and useless things until I get to travel: I'm in love with landscapes, wilderness and other breathtaking sceneries! I'm trying to get into more kinds of photography too, like portraits and people!

I like to cook and bake, and that's usually what I end up doing when I'm stuck at home!

I love travelling and I am always looking forward to visiting countries I do not know :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I've read a lot and I would say my favourite books ever are To Kill a Mockingbird from Harper Lee & Rule of the Bone from Russell Banks, and there are some French books from my childhood that I could read a thousand times without getting bored of them!

I just begin to have good tastes in music thanks to my sister, who has an incredible musical culture!
I like rock, folk and surf-rock music, and artists that never leave my iPod are Simon & Garfunkel, Dire Straits, America or Supertramp, and the Beach Boys!

My favourite movies are French comedies you probably won't know unless you are French too!
Some of my favourite include Hunt for the Wilderpeople (honestly, if you have not watched it, stop everything and go now), 500 days of Summer, Into the Wild... and, sorry to admit it, every Disney animation movie... :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many amazing things I've done starting with travelling!

I lived in Europe, New Zealand and the States before coming to Montreal.
I spent a year exploring New Zealand, living in a van, meeting incredible people and hiking some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen!
The year before, I went on a 10 days road trip around Sweden, Norway and Denmark with people I barely knew who became like family, I swam 50m in an Iced lake in Lapland and I travelled 525km alone by bike across France!

And all I want is to keep this list growing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Positive vibes!

I can cook nice French meals like ratatouille, quiche or crepes :)
