We are a family with a couple and 2 kids

PHILOSOPHY

We live a simple life, and we want more about this. In our ideal life we live with only things enough to bag in the luggage. We still haven't reached that level but we have already a good level of detachment.

We believe that wasting and too private stuff are usually bad for humanity, like private cars, huge houses, too much consumption. We love to go to flea market or Humana and buy second hand stuff, that make us feel part of something bigger and transcendent.

We love to live among different people and learn from them.

We are just dust of stars :P

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted very nice people and never had any trouble. Another way we have used CS is on collecting local information on a place before we visit, which is very helpful too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We started to host people at the end of 2012. It has been a great experience with no cons. We still hadn't experience surfing in a couch of somebody from CS, but we did it in a house of friends, which was a very similar case. It's a bit hard to go 4 people being 2 kids to somebody's couch, but the experience was very good and we returned with a great feeling in heart for the people we met.

rock, samba, metal, jazz, blues and other music styles. Favorite bands: AD/DC, Nightwish, Iron Maiden, Kiss, Led Zeppelin, Legiao Urbana, Raul Seixas, Ultrage a Rigor, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Cazuza, Secos e Molhados, Made in Brazil, Deep Purple, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, etc.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Wrote a book and got 2 children and an amazing wife. They were great milestone in my life.

Robotics, programming, DIY, telling fairy tales to kids, English, Portuguese, Brazilian Cheese Bread.

BTW anything I like to learn I can teach somehow :)
