About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore and learn about the world and the people that live here.
ABOUT ME
I graduated college a few years ago, traveled in Europe until I ran out of money, and moved out of Illinois as soon as I could.
I moved to Portland two years ago on a whim, and haven't looked back since. I recently failed at attempting to keep the idea of falling into a 9-5, collared, coffee filled, 2 weeks vacation, competitive salaried, trouser socks job at bay by getting a full time job at a public defenders office this year. But, you know, it's alright. I also try to volunteer as much as I can during my time off and feel it's really important to be connected to your community.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed in Paris and New Orleans. Its an awesome way to meet people and learn about an area and re-instill your faith in humankind.
If only I could find a way to plan ahead more than a day or two when traveling, then I would couchsurf much more often!
I don't have the space right now to host, but am working on fixing that hopefully soon.
Interests
Exploring, hiking, hot springs, concerts, sponteneity, camping, talking with people, listening to music, listening to NPR/talk radio, making food and eating it, wandering, confusing people, cookies, wind, being places I'm not supposed to be, having tons of fun.
