About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring Japan and learning harvesting skills together with two close friends.
Japan is a country that fascinates me since many years and I really like the Japanese culture. I’ve already been to japan for a few weeks about two years ago and I really liked it. I visited Tokio, Kyoto and Hiroshima and now I am looking forward to returning with two friends and also visit the more rural areas of japan this time. I also did a Japanese language course with my friends here in Germany, so we speak a tiny bit of Japanese, but we would love to learn more and improve our Japanese skills souring our journey.

ABOUT ME

Moin Moin

Hi there.
I am an open minded, student from Germany. I do not have much experience with couchsurfing, yet, but every Person I´ve met so far was great and inspiring. Therefore I am looking forward for the next possibility to host another great couchsurfer or to start my next trip.
I just finished my bachelor in sociology earlier this year and curently I am doing my sociology master in the beautiful seaport city of Hamburg. I love to meet new people, understand their thoughts and views of life and share my own interests with others. I am convinced that it's important to share and learn from each other and couchsurfing is a great chance to do so.
I am looking forward to meet new people and make new friends, visit new countries and simply have a good time with many interesting conversations!

PHILOSOPHY

Still searching for the meaning of life. I guess it makes more sense to live each day like its your first one, than living each day like its your last one. Also you should always try not to stop at one point in your life, change is what makes the life worth living.

"NO Border - NO Nation" - that is a world I dream off and the couchsurfing community let you feel that a little bit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed three times so far. I have been to London with a friend a few years ago and a few weeks later we also hosted our host from London back in Germany.
I’ ve also been to Bochum in Germany with couchsurfing. When I was in Sweden I went to a couchsurfing event in an local bar and met a very nice host there. And last, but not least, I couchsurfed in Paris.

Interests

I really like to question everything in life and around me. I like to think about our society and politics, or the things that keep us together or separate us.
Questioning everything and making new experiences, this method keeps me going, or in other words: Learning new things makes me happy.
