About Me

I'm a young doctor, 26 years old, just graduated from med school in University of Rome La Sapienza.
I love traveling, so after six years studying hard, I decided to take quite a long travel through Brazil, and maybe some other countries in south america. I'll be traveling for five months, and I'm really eager to get to know Brazilian and South American culture, so I hope I'll get any possible chance to get to know as much people as possible along my travel.
I love music, cuisine (to taste it and also to cook it, I'm quite good with Italian cuisine), and arts in general. I love to try to feed my senses with any kind of beauty I encounter, and to push myself to intense experiences, getting to know better myself and other people.
I am open to share experiences with the people I'll meet, and I'll be glad to share my background and what I have to give, with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said, I'm traveling for 5 month. And I am on a budget. I saved some money for about a year, but still, I will have to be careful if I want to make it alive to the end of the travel. :)
But mostly, I hope this will be a chance to get to know a community of people similar to me, open di discovering different cultures, with whom sharing experiences and having a good time.

Music, Movies, and Books

any kind of music. I have quite a musical background as my dad is a musician, and I have been playing myself bass guitar for a few years. Lately I have been listening to some classical music, but usually I'm more of a rock, blues or jazz guy. I like drums, and I can play a little bit of guitar.
I love cinema, and the list of movies and directors would be to long.
As regards books, I read mostly classics novels and essays, but I don't mind different staff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was a child I told my parents I wanted to leave and go for a travel by myself. So with their help we arranged a travel to USA and when I was 11 I left and I spent one month to an American host family without my parents. It was the first time a really understood I would have been able to discover myself through traveling, and ever since I've never stopped.
