Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My biggest passion is to travel and to get to know foreign countries, peoples, cultures and lifestyles. Though I'm open minded, relaxed and interested in local cultures, for some reason, I never took the opportunites of couchsurfing into account. But now I want to change that. One of my hopes is, not to feel as a standard tourist when traveling but to get a closer connection to local people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The latest thing that fits in this category was the following: After my classes I was sitting in the library in my guest university in Osaka doing my homework (it was 6pm, that's the Japanese way...) when I thought about going somewhere over the weekend. So I checked some flights and found one. I went back home and booked a flight for 4 days to Taipei. The departure was in the same night 8 hours later...

I don't fear to try to maintain, repair, fix simple household things. I like to face a problem and try to find a solution. I'm very fit in fixing bicycles!
