About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to explore the big cities and small towns of the world! In the meantime, I show others mine. I love the thrill of being in a place I've never been before, and love it when I have the chance to share my own city, my own place, to someone looking for some local guidance and tips. I work in a Spanish school, so I actually get the chance to do that quite often.

ABOUT ME

I'm an upbeat easygoing guy who likes looking at the bright side. I spend a big part of my day listening to music and singing on the streets. Don't get me wrong, I'm loud, unless I'm surrounded by my friends, at some house, singing while guitars are playing. I'm polite and respectful, specially when it comes to sharing with others.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to keep it simple: if you have a problem and there's a solution for it, then it's not worth worrying about it. If there isn't a solution for it, then it's not worth worrying about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to get to know people from all over the world. I usually have contact with new people on a daily basis, but sharing a space, even if it's just living together for a few days, it's a different story: you get to see the real thing, you get to show the real thing to others.
I smile to everybody and look for the smiling people of the world. The good vibes, the ones looking for people with the same ideal: giving and receiving, just because.

Interests

I enjoy music a lot: I tend to get lost in it and travel in time with it. As an actor, I can say I'm a big theater-goer and reader. I like those good old sci-fi books giving out that analogy about the world we had never taken the time to think about.
Movies are my hobby, just watching a good story makes my day.
And then, at night, meeting friends in a house or bar is the best there is.
And finally, traveling. Takes my breath away.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music, but mostly the one that makes you travel around the world and your own soul.
Movies and books that leave a message are always welcome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did some hiking on mountain in Jiufen, Taiwan. I was on reaching the top when it started raining. I found shelter in what seemed to be a religious offering. I sat down and a read a book that a friend had given me as a gift in China -a book about inner peace, which she gave me without me asking, exactly I needed it the most- and kept on reading for hours until the rain stopped.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish, English and French. Then, of course, I can teach how to cook some Argentine meals.
I'd love to hear and practice whatever language is spoken in any place I visit, as well as its cuisine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell you about my place, what it is about, as well as encourage you to visit. I'm an ok cook and, as a teacher, I could take you through your first steps on the languages that I speak, or practice, or give you an introduction of drama, or maybe show you a little bit of Argentinian folk dancing! I know about different things and don't mind sharing it with others.
