ABOUT ME

I do a lot of traveling for both work and fun. The fun trips involve traveling through towns or villages in non-tourist areas as well as trekking out in more remote areas. Actually, the work trips commonly involve that too.

Currently I work as a technical advisor for preventing invasive species and disease in international agricultural trade. I also still do research/extension work with small-scale farmers in the fields of conservation and agricultural development, in other countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always had couch and floor space available for friends and others in all countries I have lived in. I've also surfed a lot of friends' couches over the years.
