About Me

Living in Mexico.

CURRENT MISSION: Entrepreneuring for travelling in South Asia for a year or more.

ABOUT ME: I think I could not describe myself very well but you can take a look to my references to make an idea, besides that I could only say I'm a pretty normal guy living the present or at least I try! I like getting into new experiences, meeting new people and I really enjoy good and deep conversations about life. Currently working as a freelancer of filmmaking and photography. Also I’m creating a blog of my personal work (soon available).

I think I have an ease on learning languages. When I find someone special I always ask for a picture. I might seem quiet at first glance but just get to know me and I won't stop. I like to ask questions.

Follow me on Instagram or just send me a message! http://instagram.com/mario.malibu

PHILOSOPHY: Live the present. Expect nothing. Look for the most vital thing. C'est la vie!. Let’s support the community!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:

Going to local meetings, short trips with the community and hanging around with travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:

When traveling I think you get to know the most finest things about someone. Somehow I like and dislike how you meet people and then they are gone from one moment to another, they leave so many knowledge and experience, it feels heartbreaking and breathtaking at the same time.

Interests

I'm curious about arts in society and its power to create big changes. Deeply enjoy meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite films are La dolce vita, À bout de souffle, Amelie, The dreamers, El lugar más pequeño, Once, Dogville, How to survive a plague, Into the wild, Dancer in the dark, Elephant, Where the heart is?, Let the right one in, Les amours imaginaires, C'est arrivé près de chez vous, SLC PUNK, Big fish, Love, Malena, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. Many more, ask me for a suggestion if you want.

I really enjoy the original scores from films and videogames. Nirvana, The Beatles, Beirut, City and Colour, Sigur Ros, AC/DC, Imogen Heap, Björk. Mexican bands like Café Tacvba or Kinky are awesome. Latin music like Selena is a must.

I read as much as I can, currently reading: The journal of a disappointed man (W.N.P. Barbellion), Top of the world (Hans Ruesch), The art of loving (Fromm).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nature is just lovely.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you some good mexican basics. The rest is just my personal experiences about life, couchsurfing, filmmaking, photography, whatever. I don't know if I can be a good teacher but definitely a better listener.

I’m open to learn new things, mentally, spiritually, phisically, emotionally talking. Or just tell me how you like living in society.

What I Can Share with Hosts

To my hosts: I like going to every kind of places. Also I like spending time with my host if possible. I like to be helpful in my stay.

To my surfers: I can show you downtown up and down, also my regular places like bars, night clubs, museums, or depending on what you are looking for, I'm open for requests.
