Hello, my name is Marion, I'm a 22 years old French traveler, juggler, yogi, musician and after studying Chinese for three year at uni I needed a break !
I've been traveling for more than a year and a half now, mostly in England and Iceland last year and I've been traveling in Asia for four months now.
I just completed a 200h Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh India and it changed my life for the better. I've been practicing Ashtanga yoga for two years, I've also been juggling for a couple of years and I'm always traveling with my juggling clubs so I could teach you if you want !
I've been playing the flute at the music school for more than 15 years and then I learnt how to play the guitar, ukulele and the piano on my own. But I'm left-handed, si that's not easy for me to find proper guitar to play on.
I love drawing too but I don't have enough time, I like too many things ^^

What else ... I'm a very hard-working, easy-going person, I love laughing, meeting new people, discovering new cultures, I'm very curious about the world that I live in and I would love to just be able to travel in every country and learn about every different cultures !

I can cook for you in exchange, tell you about my culture etc ... Anything really :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard about Couchsurfing some years ago and now that I can start to travel further than I've ever been and more especially on my own, I think it's a awesome possibility to meet great people and discover a country in a "traditional" way if I can say so and not just stay stuck in the touristic side.

I had a first amazing experience in China and this kind of way of sharing give me hope in humanity !

Interests

I love learning new languages, and cultures. I also love music, I've been playing the flute since I was 8 years old, and I also can play a bit the piano and the guitar ( left-handed) which I'm learning on y own, I love it even if I'm not good at it ^^

I've also been juggling for three years, and I'm obviously traveling with my juggling clubs and balls !
I'm also practicing Ashtanga Yoga for two years

I love writing, drawing, singing, music ... Too many things in fact.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love every kind of music, musics of all around the world and mostly folk. I love First Aid Kit, John Butler, Mariee Sioux and I also like African singers like Habib Koité, Daby Touré, Fatou, Dobet Gnahoré...
In terms of movies I love Tarentino's movies, The Lord of The Ring of course ( in books too! ).
I love reading, and the only real book I'm always traveling with is one book of Osho which is just amazing !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know... Maybe realizing and being aware of the world we're living in and that there's so many things that go wrong but fortunately there's also thousands of beautiful and simple things to live like traveling, meeting people, discovering new places, cultures... Being aware of all of this.

Going to Tanzania when I was 13 and meet another girl with the same name as me and spend an entire day in a Tanzanian school, seeing the animals in the wild.
Celebrate my 19th birthday at the top of a Taoist mountain in China.
Completeting a 200h Yoga Teacher Training in India

And now, finally living my dream and traveling full time around the world !!!
