Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been using Couchsurfing as a guest a few times.
I have to admit, I do not have a place in exchange for anybody ( I am still living nomad style ) but when I'll do I would be more than happy to welcome people. In anyways, if any travelers are where I am I'll be more than pleased to give them a tour of the area ( considering that I am moving from one place to another quite often :).
When I do ask hosts to come over It's more for having an exchange, to meet somebody new who would be happy to share a moment and help me visit his/her area. If I just wanted a bed I would pay for a hotel.
I have done some volunteering and it's all about exchanging. That's how I want to see Couchsurfing. In exchange for a place, I am happy to cook ( I am picky with what I eat so never expect to share a plate of pasta with me ) or help with anything, offer a cup of coffee or/and a beer, speak about traveling experiences ( always ), and more importantly, sharing a moment. I do know a lot of people don't see this website the same way I do and that's ok you don't have to accept me if you don't want to :)
