About Me

Hi,
I'm 29 and making my child's dream coming true by coming to New Zealand. It's my first time traveling alone and it's quite an adventure for me.
I'm a curious person, social and a bit talkative. I like to learn and discover new stuff and since I'm fluent in english, language is rarely a barrier. I work in grapevine and I love botany, animals and nature in general.
I like to cook, try new style of food and share moments around a meal.
I like to read (you can learn life lessons in the pages of a book) and I also like sports (rugby is a family tradition and I used to play myself).
Life is short and I try to live it fully everyday.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got the opportunity to travel with friends and family, or for work, but it's the first time that I'm traveling alone. I think it's a great oppotunity for me to interact with people and when I visit a country I like to get a real sens of what is it to leave there. That's why I think that couchsurfing is one of the best way for me to truly discover a country and its culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have any favorite books or movies, really. Depends of my state of mind and the period of my life...
Don't really like horror movies or books though..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think a lot of moments are extraordinary when you want them to be.
One that I like to remember is when some new chilean colleagues of mine invited me in one's parents flat for the week-end on the coast. They were so kind and eventhough we'd just met they invited me and took me to a beautiful place, where you could see the beach and hear the ocean from the window. They made me discover some typical products and we share an asado (barbecue). I walked aloung the cost and saw sea lions for the first time up close... We talked late at night, redoing the world and philosophing, sharing personal experience... It was a truly great human experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to cook, garden, use some plants as medecine and cosmetics.
I love grapevine and wine and I know a bit about wine tasting.
I'm very curious and I love to learn everyday about everything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a bit of knowledge, scholar and practical. I can share my passion for nature, food and life.
I'd like to share their own way of living, their own knowledge and passions. I think human echange allows you to grow up, become more enlighten and can make people happy.
