About Me

Hi! At the moment I'm living in a shared house with four roommates and I love meeting new people, wether at home when I can or while traveling.
I already made some great couchsurfing experiences, thanks to the amazing people I met mostly in Japan and France. In France, Brittany, or while exploring the world, I love to discover new places and share time with people. I'm not much into superficial matters, I appreciate art, cinema, music, just quality time with nice interesting people. I spend as much time as possible in or near nature, and enjoy biking (i ride my bicycle to work, to the beach, to go out etc.) and hiking a lot.
You should know that due to work schedule, I may not be available to spend as much time as I'd like with you, sorry. That being said, if you're exploring on your own and willing to chat in the evening and go for a walk together, I'd love to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I usually travel with friends or siblings ( sister and brother), but I've decided to try traveling alone more. I've been on a solo trip to Japan, Cambodia, Thailand and South Korea and had amazing surprises through Couchsurfing. Traveling alone creates opportunities to meet new people and be more spontaneous as I move forward on my journeys. I love sharing time and experiences with people, I'm used to living in community as I currently live in a shared house with 4roomates. Very adaptable/flexible, I also enjoy meeting and/or hosting travellers who want to discover Brest and the region of Brittany, France.

Interests

Pushing my boundaries, I love to try new activities, discover new places. Not a heavy drinker, rarely going to bars but I enjoy sharing good times. Sometimes just chilling, sometimes outdoor activities, why not something totally unexpected!

Music, Movies, and Books

Always open to discover new things, movies, music from all around the world. Anything I can dance to is always a winning point!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling in Cambodia, I met by chance many people. One day a tuk tuk driver took pity on me as i was walking from temple to temple near Siem Reap. He offered to take me with and gave no choice to his client, Nigel. I spent a few hours speaking with Nigel as we visited temples and rode through the jungle. He very openly shared the very personal reasons why he was traveling, to process a life changing revelation. As the sun slowly set, we finished this very intense conversation and each went our way, glad for this very special moment.
Traveling created so many special and unexpected moments that changed the way I perceive myself and the world. Even in my daily life i now try to make room for the unexpected and improvised encounters.

Teach, Learn, Share

Working in urban planning and architecture drives me to try making a difference in improving how we live today and in the future. Part of what I love in travelling is that it gives me a better understanding of the world we live in and the various ways people live or aspire to live. I'd love to hear about your way of life and vision, and share thoughts!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Comfy couch to sleep on, preferably for one person, in our living room. Or a single mattress on the floor of my bedroom.
When relaxed on weekends, I have more time and energy to go out, explore, walk and share tips.
Food is also a good thing to share: I've always loved to cook, specially cook for other people! As a vegetarian I enjoy a few recipes and I love to share those meals. I mostly cook vegetarian, gluten free and lactose free meals so anyone curious to try and even cook with me could be nicely surprised (I used to teach small cooking classes to kids so no specials skills are necessary). I can also cook very good cakes and desserts (with or without eggs, gluten, lactose^^) that will give you a taste of french gourmandise. Food aside, I also like to share conversations and exchange tips, on places I've visited for example. If you like to swim, surf, run, walk, ride a bicycle, I would love to join as well.
