About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Try. And have fun!
ABOUT ME
Before starting university I went solo traveling for 8 months, mostly in the Middle East and Asia. When I came back home I got a job at a great youth hostel where I now work at the same time as I study. I have way too many hobbies and way too little time, which makes life all the more exciting!
PHILOSOPHY
Try. Don't be stupid... well, don't be too stupid. Don't take things too seriously. Seek knowledge and humility. Think. Really think. Find balance. Don't settle on simply existing: LIVE!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I mainly surf, but I love to host whenever someone at the hostel or someone I met previously needs a place to crash!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed many times now and it always gave a new angle to my travel experiences. I felt much less like a tourist, and much more like a welcome friend. It gives a different kind of perspective!

2. Reading every book you dare share and learning about everything you dare teach.

Music, Movies, and Books
Surely it is impossible to summerize everything I have liked for all those years... Let's try anyhoo.
Movies:
The Eternal Sushine of the Spotless Mind, When Harry Met Sally, Memento, Pulp Fiction, Lost In Translation, Little Miss Sunshine...
Music:
Radiohead, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen, Pink Floyd, Arcade Fire, Damien Rice...
BOOKS: (aka the category I spend the most time on but just can't seem to be able to summerize...)
all the works of Kundera, Siddharta, Comment devenir un ange, Fight Club, Into the Wild, Lettres à un jeune poète, Zen and the art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and am a big fan of Harry Potter (hehe).
Always looking to extend the list, so you're welcome to suggest! :) I especially like to read local literature when I travel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I've got a couple stories up my sleeve... All in good time. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I absolutely love to learn languages! I love to hear about how life is where you're from and if you play guitar, I could definitely use your help!
I'd be glad to teach you how to sew, cook, or knit and I would love to share with you the art of debate. Also, I'm an adept of talking politics, int'l development and all social sciences for that matter.
Let's share a good meal, passionate discussions, and our knowledge of the little we know!
