Overview
About Me
I’m Marion, quarter century old (well okay, a little more) and I’ve been living in Luxembourg for 3 years with my boyfriend.
I’m working as an event manager and I have a blog where I share my travels, the restaurants I’ve tried, the beauty products I’ve tested… Well, a lot of things! Here is the link if you want to see more: www.mariontreize.com
I’m a cat mother of an adorable female who is almost 5 years old and named Hermès.
And to really « speak » about me, I’m a vegetarian engaged in the protections of animals. And even in the protection of humans. To be honest, I hate the injustice and the social inequality. We all are living beings who live on Earth. We all are at the same level and we must be thankful to be alive, so why fight each other? Live in harmony!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The most important reason of why I’m on Couchsurfing is because I really like to meet peoples. To meet new personalities, listen to their adventures and share moments together.
That’s why I’m hosting with pleasure at my/our home and enjoy being a guest with locals who can tell me more about their city and country, what to do in the area.
Interests
First, I’m totally in love with art. Yeah, really. Drawings, music, dance, photography, paintings… I’m passionate about all forms of art! I like to organize events too, to discover new art, new types of events, I like to discover new things! Through art and travels, staying curious is what thrills me!

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m an unconditional fan of Die Antwoord, Diplo and Skrillex. I can go to their shows a million times without be tired of it. But I’m also opened of all types of music. I really like US rap and listen to techno too. I think it depends on the mood.
I like true stories in books and movies. For example, I’m very interested of what happened during the Second World War (probably because I come from the East of France, an area occupied by Germans at the time). But I like other types of stories as well. There is a book which left its mark on me, « Memories of a Geisha ». It’s a moving book that shows the real facet of geishas in Japan. Since I read this book, it’s my dream to meet a geisha!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To travel and meet accidentally people on our way. Maybe it doesn’t look like extraordinary and yet it’s full of treasures.
Teach, Learn, Share
I wish to take english courses to improve it. I would like to learn German and Luxembourgish given the fact that I live in Luxembourg.
I practise yoga and pole dance (sorry guys, I’m not a stripper ;)). These sports allow me to gain in strength and flexibility. Each day I draw a little bit, mainly lettering and doodles. I’m not that talented but improving my skill every day!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I really like traditions of a country or even an area. All these city/country celebrations, I really like to do them or just to know them. To know the origines. In Luxembourg there are a lot of traditions and I’m delighted with it! Also, it’s always a pleasure for me to explain all these traditions. I like to give a tour of the city where I live. It probably explains why when I was younger, I wanted to be a tour guide. I gave up this idea but in the end I still do it a little bit!
