Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I already host a couple of people from Washington DC and I surfed one night in Denmark with a friend. Both of these expriences went perfectly well, that's why I'll continue to host people from time to time throughout the year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My family and I exchanged our house in the south of France several times, with californian people, with others from Iceland also. But that was not really couchsurfing. My first time hosting people was two years ago, with very nice people, but we were both really busy and didn't had lot of time to know each other. Next times will be less in a hurry, I hope so!

Interests

I like going out with my friends, travelling, watching movies, listening to music, dancing, etc. Yes, I am normal.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost everything in music, but to party, David Guetta is THE one. The old classics as Elvis, the Beatles and Rolling Stones of course, Florence+the machine, The Killers, Daft Punk, Phoenix , Crystal Fighters, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Selah Sue, Cat Power ... Movies I liked a lot : Django (Tarantino), Broken (Rufus Norris), all the Lord of the Rings, most of the movies of Almodovar, etc, etc. Regarding books, I'll say "joker" because since I am a student, I did not really read something else than textbooks and articles for work, that's a shame I know.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During the summer 2012, I climbed the Merapi volcano in Java (Indonesia) by night, to see the sunrise at the summit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in a 40m² apartment in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, with my roomate. Thus, it's often quite complicated for me to host people as we have only two rooms, but I try to make it possible during holidays.
