About Me

Extrovert by all means (except when feeling a bit introvert-ish)

Currently studying in Copenhagen, Denmark. I'm a big fan of outdoors (climbing, kayaking, running) so I'm trying to combine my business degree with outdoors.

Also, I've been living on my own since 17 and Denmark is my 4th country, so I turned out to be a 'shaka' type of a person: easy going, adaptable and open to different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always try to be as local as possible wherever I go. If I'm staying in a country for a longer period, I try to learn the language and do like 'the Brazilians do' or like 'the Danish do'.

Couchsurfing is a perfect platform for that. I would rather sit in a small neighbourhood shed, drinking local wine, then explore the main sightseeing places (which are most of the time are amazing as well) and CS is a way to do it.

In my free time I work as a climbing and kayaking instructor in Copenhagen.

Interests

DIGITAL BUSINESS + OUTDOOR SPORTS

I'm finishing off my degree in business and my objective is to become an instructor in 5 different outdoor sports. I'm gradually working on combining the two fields and this takes most of my waking life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie: 7 pounds (made me cry) and Diario de Motocicleta
Book: Who will cry when you will die.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One that I'm really proud of is helping a blind girl learn kayaking while working as an instructor. She was going on a trip and needed to have the skill set, so we spent a weekend working on her rescues and it was pretty awesome to be part of the process.

Also, I've had a summer of festivals, when I went on to 7 music festivals in one summer. Moreover, I volunteered in all of them, which you probably know it's pretty awesome. So out of 12 weekends that summer 7 were somewhere across the country enjoying festivals.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Pretty much the same I received the I host someone. Inspiring each other, sharing good travel tips and especially contacts. Reassuring the belief that people are welcoming to each other and moving! I realized I always try to squeeze in sports or something active in the agenda, so you expect that.
