About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Venezuela on March, during carnival and April-May in Lisbon, Italy, Slovenia, Austria and Germany

ABOUT ME

I'm a State Judge in Brazil and currently I'm working in the state capital, Salvador, after 14 years of working and living in small towns in the country side.
I love to travel and I have been doing this extensively for quite some time, what took me to Portugal, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, Great Britain, Poland, Hungary, Greece, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Denmark, Sweden, Samoa, New Zealand and, Croatia, Madeira, the US, Slovenia, Morocco, Spain, Austria and Germany. I'm looking for going on a RTW trip by the end of the year.
I love to cook and to chat with my couchsurfers, so I can experience a little bit more of their cultural differences and life experiences. You'll notice that I love to chat.
Please note that I do not host people just for one night, since this way I do not have much time to talk, specially if this happens during the week, when I go to work from 7am to 16pm!
I'LL NOT BE HERE DURING CARNIVAL SEASON, SO THERE'S NO POSSIBILITY OF HAVING PEOPLE OVER!
When you're asking for a couch for more than one month in advance, I'll accept that you send me a message first. Otherwise, if you send me a message and you're planning on arriving here in a few weeks, I'll answer your question only if you ask me by a couchsurfing request, otherwise it will be IGNORED. This is important so I can keep track of th requests and can ask you to send me an opinion about the time we spent together.
DEAR COUCHSURFERS: MY MOTHER HAD AN ACCIDENT AT HOME AND IS IN THE HOSPITAL. AND AFTER THAT, I MIGHT HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF HER, SO I DO NOT HAVE A COUCH AVAILABLE. HOPE TO START BACK HOSTING SOON!

PHILOSOPHY

I belive in complexity. I tend to think that everything is interconnected.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Telling people about CouchSurfing and make them think that it can be either safe and fun! I also spread the word that all the people that I met here were fantastic, and that I learned a lot with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I never had a bad couchsurfing experience. All the people that I met were very kind and did share a little bit of their thought and culture with me, in long chats that we had throughout the couchsurfing experience. Of course there are these folks that you feel that have more commom interests and the ones that make you feel like you've known them for a long time, and become your instante best friend, witch is also a very nice experience.

Interests

I love Dicourse Analysis, wich is what I studied in my masters in Linguistics (even though it's not strictly that). It studies language in use, mainly the ideological marks that we leave in our language expression even though we might not say so, like what judges do, when they do their job saying that they're me impartial.

Music, Movies, and Books

José Saramago and many of the Brazilian new generation of filmmakers: O céu de Suely, O cheiro do ralo, and so on. I also recently started reading Miguel Delibes and was stunned by his powerful writing. My favourite brazilian writers are Machado de Assis and Clarice Lispector.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess to finish my Masters Degree and to have passed sucessfully the tests to be a judge with only 23 years old.
