Hello people :) my name is Maripaz, I am 20 years old and I am from San José, Costa Rica. I'm new in Couchsurfing, but since I love to travel this is definitely a good way to start. I love languages, the mountain, as well as the beach, spending time with entertaining and nice people; sharing and knowing all I can about different cultures and countries. I also enjoy to talk about my country as well as listening from others; listening nice and wild stories, or just to talk about life.. I am a really talkative person btw haha. But well, all kinds of information will always be well received :)
I am a really open minded person, always eager to learn, to do different activities, to confront any situation and, always up for any new experience or adventure!!
I am now living in Castelraimondo till the 27th of this month. I am looking for a place to stay after this date, and for at least 2 weeks, somewhere in Italy.
Hablo español, ya que es mi lengua materna, English because I lived in United States for 4 months e un po’ di italiano. Sono stata a lezione di italiano per 2 mesi qua a Castelraimondo, quindi, sono qui per imparare e praticare con tutte le persone che vogliono parlare con me.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I'm open for anything that comes; I want to meet new people, new houses, different food, exotic nature, cool jobs, loveable animals, laugh hard, enjoy life..... in a pretty cool way like couchsurfing. If I have the opportunity to be in Italy today, I want to spend this time in the best way I can think of.. I would love to live with Italian people that can show me how amazing to be an Italian is. Or any other nationality, we are all amazing, or at least we all have something amazing to talk about, don't we? :)

Intereses

I love hula hooping:) have been doing it for 8 months now.
Also, I'm most of all interested in things related to language, or cultures but I love to do any kind of thing… Learning will always be the biggest door to opportunities :)

Música, películas y libros

I love all type of music, however, I am a Guns N’ Roses fan, since I was 14years old:) I would say almost all my music is reggae or chill stuff.. but well, you can see me chillin’ with Bob Marley music as well as dancing some Maluma songs haha..
I’m not a fan of reading, I rather watch a documental on TV.
When talking about movies, I love true story movies, like drama or romance… they always take my breath away! Tom Hanks if of course my favorite actor (=

Algo increíble que he hecho

Well, I used to backpack all over my country and in Nicaragua. So I would say that every of this trips was incredible. Yet, I did have an amazing experience camping in the middle of the mountain in Costa Rica, only my tent, the sky full of shining stars, some animals noises (a little scary but incredible), and me. I would say that was one of the best nights I’ve ever had!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I love to teach and help. In all that I can, I will be always more than glad to help with. I was actually studying to be an English Teacher.. so some experience must have hah. And of terms of learning, I am always learning, every day.. we all are always learning something new. I came here to learn Italian, but the more the days go by, the more I understand I'm here for more than that, excited and impatient to discover.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can cook some Costa Rican food, as well as be a good company, I can help with Spanish or English lessons :), I love to hula hoop, and I take my red hula everywhere with me, so I can definitely show you how to make your hips have fun 😁 also, making/working in anything.. I am a really energetic person, so working hard and helping is always something I try to do.
