About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Without new experiences, something inside of us sleeps. The sleeper must awaken.
ABOUT ME
Er, where to start??? I guess I'm a pretty easy going and open minded person, and try not to take anything too seriously ... I seem to have perennially itchy feet and move around a lot...I love travelling, especially for the opportunities it presents to learn about yourself and the outside world. I love hot weather, hate being rushed and am terribly arachnophobic...
PHILOSOPHY
Life is what we make it. Always has been. Always will be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host. I surf. I connect.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met a lot of interesting people I'd have otherwise passed-by in life. It's always interesting, every encounter unique, and sometimes you make friends you know you'd keep for life.
Interests
I enjoy outdoor and indoor activities, but the one I love the most is capoeira. It has become a significant part of my life and I guess it will stay this way for good. I'm kinda addicted to scrabble as well as to good old surfing. I love dancing but sometimes I tend to lose my shoes on a dance floor after few drinks :) I'm really interested in learning how to dance forro, preferably in Brazil. :) As much as I love traveling I hate flying, and my recent experience with indonesian airlines just made it worse.
I always try to pick up new languages when I travel, so I'm having a little Babel tower at the moment, all mixed up. What else.. Oh, I have to close my eyes when I'm passing by a shoe shop, just not to be tempted to get One More pair..

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Haruki Murakami and I consider learning japanese to read his original work! I've been reading "Shantaram" for a year now and I don't want to finish it. It's too good to be over. I've read "One Hundred Years of Solitude" a hundred times and never get bored.
Movies I watch. :) Blockbusters bore me, and my favourite cinema in Bangkok is Lido, where sometimes you can see some quality pieces. Not too often though..
Music never lets me down especially when it has latin rhythm. Ethnic music I enjoy - african, macedonian and bulgarian, and recently I discovered kecak - amazing indonesian dance male choirs. I never travel without Zero7 on my MP3.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every little thing can be amazing.. a raindrop on a spider web, a rainbow in the sky, a smile of a passer-by.. Just need to keep your eyes open..
Teach, Learn, Share
I have travelled extensively through out Europe and Asia . I have travelled on my own and with friends so I can share my experiences and knowledge with like minded travellers. I can also teach you how to cook Thai food! Yummmmmmy....
