Hey there!

I'm Marisa. I live in New York City and have been slowly but surely exploring the world. I just recently got back from my first solo trip to Italy and Spain and before that a trip to Turkey and France! I love meeting new people, sharing stories, and learning about different cultures and food. Speaking of, cooking is a passion of mine and i'd love to cook for my host as a small token of my appreciation. I went to college for photography and I love to capture moments. I'm hoping to create more memories with the people I meet along the way.

On the weekends I like to explore different parts of NYC, go rock climbing, hang with friends, and end the day with some rooftop drinks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best travel experiences I've ever had have been with locals because I was able to see their home through their eyes. So, i'm looking forward to more of that through couch surfer!

Quit my job and traveled for a month.
Hot air balloon ride for the sunrise in Cappadocia Turkey.
