Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Marisa and like most people on Couchsurfing, I love to travel. Some things that make me more unique are that I also love to run, read, write, and especially meet new people! I fell in love with travel when I went on a student exchange to France in high school and got to travel quite a bit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm interested in meeting locals from around the world who are just as interested in traveling and culture as I am. I love to meet new people and I want to truly get to know the countries I am visiting rather than just seeing them as a tourist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went skydiving last summer, which was one of the craziest experiences of my life! It doesn't even feel like you're falling; there's just wind all around you and it is pure exhilaration.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to practice English with me (or want to help me learn your language) I would love to work on language with you. I also would love to exchange book suggestions as I am always looking for good books to read. As far as teaching you goes, I will answer as many of your questions as I can about American culture and life and I would love to teach you some of my favorite recipes!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook a lot of "traditional American" (or what we call American) dishes from mac and cheese, to spinach and artichoke dip, to burgers! I would love to cook for you or cook with you and learn to make your traditional dishes.
