Hi! I'm Marisa!

Born and raised in Uruguay, currently living in Seville, Spain.

I moved to Spain when I was 22 because my country was getting too small for me, and because I wanted to be able to explore Europe and meet people from all over the world. I have been traveling since I was 3 and I'm passionate about learning about the history, culture and food of other places.

I am a very positive and outgoing person. If I feel comfortable with the people I meet, I will open up and share a lot about myself. But I'm also a good listener and love hearing good stories.

One of my favorite activities is eating. I'm a big foodie and I like trying new recipes. The only no-no for me is seafood. I tried it, I swear, but we just don't seem to get along well...

I'm very outdoorsy and enjoy spending time outside, either going for a drink or walking or anything. I'm absolutely crazy about the beach. I love tanning and swimming, or relaxing with a book. I can spend so many hours there...

I love dogs, specially dachshunds. I'm the kind of person that stops in the middle of the street to pet a dog. Sorry in advance if I pay more attention to your dog than to you haha.

I also like dancing, pretty much any type of music. I'm currently learning flamenco because I think that if I live in the city where flamenco was born, I should at least know a few steps.

Being a Translator, I clearly have a passion for literature, history and languages.

Hola! Soy Marisa!

Nací y me crié en Uruguay, pero a partir de febrero estoy viviendo en Sevilla, una ciudad estupenda que se la recomiendo a todos :)

Me gusta viajar, aprender idiomas y conocer gente de todo el mundo.

Soy loca por los perros, la típica que se para a acariciar a cualquier perrito que ve en la calle. En Uruguay tengo un perro salchicha :)

Estoy en Couchsurfing porque me gusta viajar y participar en intercambios de idiomas. Como me vine a vivir a Sevilla sola, quería conocer gente con la que salir y tener buenas amistades.

También me parece una buena idea poder viajar y quedarme con gente local, que pueda mostrarme su ciudad y contarme de sus experiencias.

Mi película favorita es "About Time" porque es de esas películas que tienen un mensaje hermoso que te hace reflexionar.

Leo bastante... algunos de los libros que más me gustaron: Harry Potter, El señor de los anillos, Narnia, Bright Side, The god of small things, El cementerio de los libros olvidados, I'll give you the sun, The Hunger Games, La brújula dorada, La ciudad de las bestias...
