About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Stay Happy-Don't let the Chores of life make you a Miserable Person
ABOUT ME
Love to travel. Try to do it as often as possible. Very open-minded and want to know the world!! I enjoy talking about my own Portuguese culture and learning about the backgrounds of others. I always find it so fascinating how we can all be so different, yet very similar. I love making homemade dinners with friends, and drinking beer and wine that doesn't cost a fortune. love to exercise when motivated (usually beautiful scenery is all you need) and to stay spontaneous.
PHILOSOPHY
I try not to judge others just like I don't particularly enjoy being judged. Live your life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the idea of couch surfing. Great way to meet new people and get to know a new side of an awesome city. Much more appealing than a hotel. So far my experience couch surfing in the pacific northwest was absolutely ideal and I will continue to travel this way!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couch surfed in the Pacific Northwest (Portland, Seattle & Vancouver) and it was an amazing experience! I had a great time with all of my hosts and got to see the cities in different, not so touristy ways. Have also CSed in Berlin, and Norway.
Interests
Love Travel! Soccer, running, hiking, meeting new people, going out, watching Netflix when I'm lazy, having a good meal and drinks with interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Always hard to answer this one. I like all kinds of movies, music & literary works that fall in many different genres. And I also dislike many movies, music and literary works that fall into those same genres. I enjoy history, current/past politics, humor, some fiction, and always looking for recommendations.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Funchal, Madeira is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Enjoyed a few good hikes there.
Helped birth a goat when I was younger. Family lives on a farm in Portugal.
The Grand Canyon. It really makes you realize just how small you are compared to this wonderful, amazing world we live in. Puts everything in perspective.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak Portuguese fluently and understand/can get by with Spanish. Always fun to teach and learn from others. I love to cook!
