About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Starting a new life in the Netherlands

ABOUT ME

I am a shy, quiet person when meeting new people, but give me some time and I'll warm up to you.

PHILOSOPHY

Finding your way in life is never over - it's a constant learning process. No fixed philosophy of life, sorry. Last learning experience: love is a gift - in all meanings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a newcomer to those lands...

Interests

When I'm on my own, I sing, dance, read entertaining books or listen to some good music (the genre can be anything depending on my mood except maybe rap or ska or heavy heavy metal - but I listen most often to rock/pop music). When I'm with other people, I like talking and sharing, playing board games, and more recently, singing together too.
I have a passion for dance. I'm not really practicing anymore but I still love go to watch ballets and more modern dance shows. Dance is a means of communication that fascinates me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm definitely going to the Nijmegen gig of the Red Hot Chili Peppers this june! My last big music concert was Muse in 2010... A great show :) I'm quite new to the Netherlands so I don' t really know how/where to look for smaller music concerts...
I read a lot of novels but I don't really keep track of them. What I can say is that I prefer stories that step out the box. I like to read Fantasy and Science-Fiction books cause those obviously go way beyond the boundaries of normal life. I also sometimes enjoy Detective stories. And I do read normal day-to-day life stories.
And for movies, I wouldn' t know where to start. The last ones I saw and worth mentioning are "The Artist", "Leon", the Millenium trilogy, "SIlence of the Lambs", "Intouchables"... A mix of old and new movies.
