I'm a good mix of strong silent type and the life of the party. I enjoy meeting new people, especially in smaller groups, but I also love my solitude, am great at entertaining myself, and love traveling solo when I can. I live in Phoenix, AZ with my best friend Ashley. Our condo is a little too small to host right now, but I really enjoy connecting with new folks and showing them the lovely hidden spots in our sweet desert city. I'm a painter. I love dancing and have studied belly dance and samba here and there over the years, but I also just love going out to social dance. I enjoy going to bars with friends if they have good music. I love to eat. I'm not the best cook but I can help out in the kitchen and always find good food from all over the world to enjoy. I think a lot about the interconnectedness between us all and have been reading a lot of Octavia Butler and adrienne marie brown's Emergent Strategy series to find practice and inspiration for imagining and living into a world that can make space for everyone to be cared for.

I want to get back into traveling more and love the opportunity to meet new people. I have struggled with anxiety in my life, but I'm committed to growing into my own resilience, seeing the beauty and wonder in myself and others, and building new connections and opportunities for community in this big, beautiful world.
