Overview
About Me
I studied Social Theory and Practice at the University of Michigan which basically means I studied different forms of activism. Now I am taking some months off between studying and trying to find work in the US to travel and experience as much as I can.
I am spending this summer traveling with my friend Josué. We have a common love of exploring and adventuring and meeting new people and making each other and those around us laugh.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a recent college graduate, I want to spend my newly founded freedom exploring other environments, cultures, and ways of living. I want to see and experience what I can. I am sorry I cannot host, but my lease is soon up and then I will be a nomad.
I love meeting new people and sharing meals and laughs and life theories. My favorite part of traveling is escaping the tourist bubble and coming upon experiences that expose me to local arts and culture and people. Couch surfing seems like a great way to do that.
Josué recently left his job as a traveling scribe in the emergency dept of hospitals around the U.S. and has a great passion for life. He will try anything at least once.
We both have a deep fondness for food.
Interests
I love all things earth-related.
I love hiking, skiing, meditation, gardening, farming, swimming and nature-based spirituality. I love good beer, all food, deep laughs, and learning new languages. Some of my favorite activities involve picnics, outdoor sports, going out to dance, and learning new friends' life stories.
