Overview
About Me
I am a game developer and designer working at a company in Berlin designing games and interactive experiences. On the side, I play, design games and draw.
I earned my Bachelors in Digital Futures at OCAD University, which mainly consists of various tech-related things including game design, mobile app development, physical computing and wearable technology.
Besides working 9-5, I love travelling, especially for conferences and residencies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of being a guest and hosting someone as a guest especially with how extremely disruptive and terrible AirBNB can be nowadays (not totally hating on AIRBNB but there are a lot of negative consequences that have occurred since its popularity).
I believe in giving back by being clean and tidy, and can cook a meal (or take you out for food and drinks!) as a form of giving back to a kind stranger who offers a place to stay.
Interests
EVERYTHING (Seriously)! Things I do a lot more of is: exercising, electronics, dancing, walking/exploring/climbing, travelling, game design and making DIY things.
I love food and all kinds of food and have a ton of recommendations for where to eat in Toronto.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to most genres of music! It really depends on my mood. :)
Same goes with movies although one I've been obsessed with recently is Children of Men.
I am a huge Bookworm and read many genres of books as well. My goal is to try and read the top 100 books from the 20th century (about a quarter or so done). The books i've been reading recently are: Donna Haraway's Staying With the Trouble and Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This is a hard one to determine but climbing mountains in Hydra, Greece is one of them, and climbing 25 km of Gros Morne Mountain with my father in Newfoundland. This is a hard question...next!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a lot of tech based things, including: digital painting, 3D modelling, and game design. I can also give tutorials on some physical computing and wearable tech.
Besides learning German, and keeping up with my (Canadian) French, I am continually learning game development but want to gain more expertise in making clothes and furniture design among numerous other things.
I love to share my knowledge, my food and experiences with others.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer any kind of cooking and cleaning help, office assistance and skill swaps (see above).
