Overview
About Me
I am a college junior studying International and European Studies at the University of Arkansas. To me, travelling is a way of life, finding the adventure in the everyday and meeting a ton of incredible people. I firmly believe that every person you come across has a story to tell, whether there are language barriers or not. I am hoping to teach English somewhere in the world after I graduate from university, and maybe working for a nonprofit after that. But yeah, I am trying to learn French and Italian, along with any other languages I can pick up along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing so that I can meet new people and see new places. I think that through travelling, you really find a part of yourself in every place you visit. I've always been one that's not good at staying in one place for a long time. The people I have met through couchsurfing so far have been incredible and I can't wait to meet more!
Also, I am studying abroad in Rome from January 2017-May 2017! I would love to meet some locals and meet some people all over Europe as well!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music- just about anything! I am mostly into indie/alternative rock, but I will listen to rap, 70's-80's rock, old country...
Movies... Don't ask me to pick only one, but I really enjoy Wes Anderson films (especially The Life Aquatic) and Forest Gump has to be my favorite movie.
Again, I love books. My favorite book is Fahrenheit 451, I am in love with Love Does, I'm trying to start reading French books... But I also love memoirs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Learning how to open my mind to different cultures, beliefs, people, etc. The world is so much more fun when you're willing to be open to new things!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach- English, some basic sewing skills, ukulele, etc.
Learn- French/Italian, maybe a couple recipes, the best way to get around, life advice, stories... Anything!
Share- Life stories, a lot of laughs, friendship, a meal or two, etc. I want to get to know my hosts/guests and them know me! It's such a cool opportunity to meet people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my gratitude, friendship, bad jokes and basic knowledge of how the world works. I can also share meals, photos, teach you how to weave, and good times :)
Countries I’ve Visited
