Hello! Hola! I'm so glad you are reading this. My name is Marisol and I am an English Teacher in San Francisco. This fall I will be moving to New York City for graduate school. So this summer I am travelling Europe before I return to school. I am extremely interested in learning, as I am teaching all year. This will be my break to gain new experiences and new friends. I love exploring, finding hidden places, conversing with locals, and being a new places. I am very flexible and want to travel, practice Spanish, and would be willing to teach English if needed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me travelling is about knowing locals, sharing local experiences, and seeing new places with locals. Coachsurfing allows me to do all of these things and saves me money on travel costs as well. Another reason I'm on Coachsurfing is because I'm in between the age of going to crazy hostels and the resort/hotel atmosphere doesn't fit into my lifestyle either.
My plan is to not have a plan. I simply want to enjoy my summer before I spend 2 years at Columbia University for my Master's.

I love travelling of course! As I am a teacher, I would love to have some conversations in English to practice with people. I am also very familiar with international exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge, GRE/GMAT. I could always spend some time helping with all things English.
I would love to learn about local cultures, politics, language acquisition, social systems of wherever I'm travelling too.
