Hello! My name is Marissa. I am a student living in Philadelphia, PA studying Accounting and Finance. I have both travelled and work abroad and hope to visit somewhere new at least once a year, whether it's the next town over or a town thousands of miles away.

My goal is to experience as much of the world as possible and meet a diverse group of people. I want to grow, experience, and live life to the fullest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: From Jane Austen to John Grisham, I read a lot. My favorite book of all time is Moon Tiger by Penelope Lively.

Movies: I love watching movies and have seen many. I like most genres other than horror films. My guilty pleasures are old musicals like Singing in the Rain, and The Sound of Music.

Music: Depending on my mood, I like Blues, Jazz, Folk, Pop, and Classical. I used to work at a concert venue, so I've seen many live performance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed to the the tallest waterfall in West Africa. As an unfit person, this was a huge accomplishment for me!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not exactly sure what I can teach, as I'm young and try my best to gain a variety of life experiences. I love to learn how things work, whether it's someone's life philosophy or the mechanics of a carburetor. I think it's important to try and be open to learning from anyone.

I'm happy to share my sense of humor, positive attitude, and willingness to help those in need.
