Overview
About Me
I'm like every other 20-something out there who is starting to feel societal pressures regarding finding a career and obtaining stability, and if you will- learning to "adult". However, I'm also realizing that these are the years that can be the most meaningful and thus is the opportune time to pursue my passion. For me, that means incorporating travel and moving to Australia for the last year on a Working Holiday. I had the best year working abroad and now I've moved to Wellington, New Zealand, hoping to continue educating myself the best way possible, by submersing myself in the culture wholeheartedly in any way that I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While I don't mind being alone, I love meeting new people and I figure that there's no better way to really get to know a place than by staying with a local who can offer great insight into hidden gems and who is as up for adventure as I am!
I've worked in tourism and hospitality positions (such as serving in a restaurant and in a hotel) for a number of years and I've always loved interacting with foreigners. I've come to the conclusion that traded knowledge is the most valuable commodity we can offer one another and is the forefront to building genuine relationships with people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to pretty well anything, very easy going when it comes to music. Anything funny when it comes to movies (usually rom-coms) and thriller books or novels based on true stories always keep me intrigued.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit stability- learning to take risks and get outside my comfort zone, often leading to genuine happiness.
Teach, Learn, Share
Always keen on learning new skills. Can share good Netflix recommendations and books!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to think I'm a very easy-going, friendly individual who is always open to trying new things. I will bake you treats and I'm a self proclaimed smoothie master. Respectful of other's space, and am typically a pretty positive person :)
