Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
learn, teach, explore and make change happen.
ABOUT ME
I studied environmental studies and international and intercultural studies at Pitzer College, but I grew up just outside of New York City.
I am an open-minded, relaxed individual and I am interested in learning about others and seeing new places and finding myself out of my comfort zone in a new situation.
I am living and working at a holistic center in northern Cordoba to learn more about healing through food, yoga, meditation, and exploring the natural world! I teach yoga in the US and work in the food justice/env justice realm and plan to study nutrition.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am exploring Argentina for a few months and want to get to know the culture and practice speaking Spanish! Hopefully, this summer I will definitely host in SLC.
Interests
I love to be outside and explore new places. I ski, hike, backpack, rock climb, go camping, surf, and love swimming in the ocean. I love to be in the desert and in the mountains and wandering around cities and seeing new parts of the world and understanding different ecosystems.
I enjoy meeting new people and challenging the way I see and understand the world and different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
authors/books: Jack Kerouac, J.D. Salinger, Kurt Vonnegut, Harry Potter, Catch-22, Lolita, The Electric Kool-aid acid test
films: Billy Elliot, Fight Club
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked around the Colorado rockies, Joshua Tree National Park in southern California, the canyons in Utah and Ecuadorian Andes for 3 months and I saw some of the most beautiful starry skies and sunrises and sunsets than can't be described.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share with you my knowledge of the environment and how to do small things and why. I can teach you new recipes and how to bake cookies and cakes or the joy of experimenting while cooking with different flavors and textures in the kitchen.
More than just a couch, I hope to share some great experiences and learn a thing or do about your city and your culture.
