About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make new friends, find new adventures, and have fun!

ABOUT ME

I moved to Omaha nearly two years ago and am still finding new and interesting things to do all the time. I love traveling, but when I can't travel, I enjoy cooking/baking, making or listening to music, and exploring cultural events around town (concerts, theater, art, etc). I also like to smile and laugh. A lot. Some might say I'm a little ridiculous...in a good way.

PHILOSOPHY

I think Tristan Prettyman put it best in her song "Love Love Love" when she said, "this life is a beautiful one, and though I've seen it coming undone, well I know most definitely it always works out the way it's meant to be."

Live it up. Have fun. Smile. Be open to people, experiences, thoughts, and have no regrets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couchsurfed in Europe, Central America, and domestically in the U.S. (finally!) and am psyched to be able to give back to the CS community by hosting people here. I also really enjoy meeting up with the local CSers here in Omaha. They're a pretty fun bunch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for the first time Summer 2008 in Czech Republic, Germany, and Poland and was pretty much hooked on it from that point forward. The things I've done and learned, the people I've met, the conversations I've had - none would have been possible without couchsurfing.

Interests

wind in my hair and music in my ears, random adventures, watching the stars, playing in the rain/fountains/sprinklers (really any form of water), dressing up, traveling, cooking, reading, making music, meeting new people, having new experiences, dancing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While in Berlin, my host convinced my friend and I to climb a fence to go see giant sandcastles along the Spree River at like 3 am. We made it over and thought we were home-free until a security guard caught us. Our host told him it was our last night in Berlin, so instead of getting in trouble, we got to stay and play.
