COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed my first couches in 2011 In Japan and S.Korea, have since surfed in Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Spain, Hungary. Costa Rica, and Denmark. I have hosted in Chicago and Japan as well.

Reading, though I don't do it nearly as much as I used to. I reddit way too much. I don't watch much tv, but am guilty of the old Netflix-series-binging.

books: I generally enjoy fantasy and sci-fi, though I will read almost anything.

My film tastes are similar to my book tastes. I also enjoy horror movies' attempts to scare me. I am an annoying movie critic and have a bad habit of pointing out all the loopholes and inconsistencies in movies.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Dived with a giant sea turtle in Semporna, Malaysia. Hiked the breathtaking rice terraces of Batad in the Philippines. Lived in the the jungle and small villages for about 7 weeks total in Borneo. No internet- I didn't think I could do it before I did. Dived with manta rays in Flores, Indonesia. Watched a ceremony where they cleaned corpses in Toraja, Sulawesi. Swam with dolphins in Hawaii. Stumbled upon some bear cubs in the Smokey Mountains.
