ABOUT ME

I love to travel and believe that it is something that will change the way you view the world and your own life. I've been fortunate in the fact that my mother loves to travel so all through my life I have gotten to experience different cultures, people, places, and life. I want to help give that same experience to other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have roommates now that are not comfortable with couch surfing, but I'd happily show people around, get a coffee, go on a hike, that kind of thing.

It's been a while, but I've couch surfed a few times and hosted as well!

Interests

I love being active! Sports, dance, hikes, whatever, just walking, I love it all. I'm into photography passingly and singing.

I also love just to talk to people, learn about them and their life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I must admit, I have never been one for reading for pleasure. Which has surprised people in the past. I love movies where you have to think to understand. Fight Club, V for Vendetta, The Sixth Sense, are all excellent. Though I'm also equally happy to watch things like How to Train Your Dragon, Lord of the Rings, and many others. :) Music is something that I love. I love to sing and to find new styles that I like. I'm not sure i could even describe what type I like, so I won't try so that I don't mislead you :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in China for 6 months, visited Sri Lanka with a friend from school, tons of things, but life is amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

Let's see; I know how to sail, I was a competitive swimmer for about 10 years, I know how to dance cuban salsa, west coast swing and most international Latin and Smooth, my ability ranges quite a bit in these. I'm sure there is more that i'm just not thinking about or I even realize. Either way just ask :) One of my favorite phrases is if you ask you shall receive.... I've found more often then not it actually works :)
