Hi there! I'm Marith, 27 years old and originally from the Netherlands. I've lived and studied there, but moved to Berlin 3 years ago to learn German and, after that, work. Two years later I decided to leave for New Zealand, where I still am at the moment and will be until the 18th of January. That day it'll - unfortunately - be time for me to go back to Europe again.

I am friendly, social, easy going and considerate. My main interests/hobbies are traveling, food (!), languages, photography, reading (both books and blogs) and writing (blogs only).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am so impressed by all these amazing people letting others stay at their place! It's such a great way to help people out and at the same time get to know others and have a break from the everyday routine. As soon as I have a place for myself again (wherever in Europe that may be), I'd love to be a couchsurfing-host, just to return all the hospitality I've received during my trips :-)
