ABOUT ME

My name is Maria. I study History and Theory of Arts, and my dream is to become an artist. I love drawing and painting, and pretty much everything that has to do with the world of art!
Whenever I have free time -and money of course :P- I love going on excursions, otherwise I spend my time watching movies, or reading books and listening to music

PHILOSOPHY

Keep calm and everthing will get done! Don't give into boredom and live life to the fullest. Take lessons from everything in life and keep going with a smile on your face!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This point of my life is dedicated to my studies, so not that much of travelling is in the programme. I've kind of decided though to stay in Athens most of the summer, so that I can keep up with my courses and drawing. Therefore I wish to host during the summer period whenever my parents are away..or not :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've travelled once before, using couchsurfing. We went to Amsterdam with my past partner. It was our first time travelling this way and we really liked it! If i could describe the experience somehow i would say that it was like experiencing bits and pieces of the real life at a place, and not the touristic one, that which is promoted to any visitor. Overall i wish to have the time in my future life to travel more this way and experience couchsurfing to the fullest!

Love exposure, Waking life, I'm Cyborg but that's OK, natural born killers, Amores Perros...

I like listening to almost every kind of music and be open to different stuff, after all music is feeling for your ears, and each kind of music gives you a different feeling :P

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Walked through the mountains for seven hours
Swam in deserted beaches with none there but you and nature it self
Climbed a hill with no trails to get to a little monastery and of course see the view!
Participated in making rose water from herbs

Well,I happen to be lucky enough to have a little painting studio of my own, so i can spend time there, with anyone interested in making art!
Personally, I would really love to learn some new food recipes, something more exotic maybe :P
