ABOUT ME
I have been 6 years living abroad, and now I feel a citizen of the world, trying to use its resources wisely... and help that cool plans or projects advance. For this I learn and am curious about many different things. Science, human factors, languages... politics. And I enjoy practicing sports, and when I cant think any more my bike does it for me :)

Be sincere/honest. Do what you can do.
I try to be open for new ways of thinking and perspectives, always challenging the ones I have so far.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I could not imagine that this website could work that good. I have met truly hospitable people here that have made me a better person and I look forward to continue meeting people and be able to give the favor back.

I use this website to help and be helped. If money can be saved and it fits everyone, this is great. Sometimes I just feel like having a bed at the end of the daz and dont feel very social, or after a tourist day I dont really feel like cooking and having the table set is nicer. Other times I feel like making my host the whole dinner! It all depends on the moment, lets jsut speak about everyones expectations are, so that things are clear for everyone :). I expect the same from my guests, so it is ok they just want to have a place to sleep for free and just that :). Just say it.

It was all good experiences! Thanks to everyone who made my travelling better, or possible at all!

Meeting people through this way, out of the university, work, or tipical hobby context is very enriching.

Interests

DO different things... like eat new stuff, learn to cook delicious meals (indian/chinese/thai food recipes, but also know how to make the perfect hamburger). Get to visit the historical places, learnt what relevant things happened in places i visit, or get to go to that cool plan that is going to happen there where I am, or learn what are relevant things for the person I get to know...

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music, depending on the situation, but normally rock. Books about history, journeys, biographys, fantasy, or about my work (human factors, usability engineering, psychology, etc)
Movies with a good script (tarantino, woody allen, almodóvar, alex de la iglesia...) and documentaries about nature or history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I have been a berlinerin
- I have driven the german highway at over 200 km/h
- I am able to understand German language (sometimes). This is an achievement.
- I have survived the canadian winter, biking almost every day, on the snow sometimes :) so cool.
- I got a ride in a US police car without being a delinquent in Washington :)
- I have met Pau Gasol and all the members of the Spanish basketball team in person.
