I am a married young man. My family consists of me (22), my wife Vasarė (22) and our son Markas (1 and 6 months) . We are both students: Vasarė will be attending her final year of bachelor studies in Singing, I have just finished my Bachelor in Music Education and Singing and am about to start Master studies in Educology. I have recently started to teach Sex Education in Kaunas Waldorf school and will have a few classes of Math from September.
We both play some guitar, some piano, sing, we also write songs. I love learning languages, I'm currently learning German and French. We love nature, taking walks, swimming, riding bikes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are currently on vacations and we would love to travel by car to Latvia>Estonia>Finland. But to make our road trip momentous we'd like to add some local experience. That's why we're here – we believe there's no better option to find amazing people that would be willing to open their doors and their hearts. We may look like strangers to you at first, but rest assured, it won't take an hour to become friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

During my years in the uni I fell in love with classical music. I also love rock, pop, country. As a graduated music teacher, I am open to any style, any type of music.
What concerns movies, it would be very difficult to describe "my type". I am more into deep, intimate, meaningful, biographical, touching movies.
I have only started reading books after high school. That's a shame, because it turns out, I love books... I'm usually reading two books at a time – one novel and one self-growth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been the president of students in my high school, I finished high school with the highest exam scores in my home city (about 300 000 inhabitants), I have made research in the field of biochemistry, currently doing research in sex education (that's already something, considering my age). But none of these compares to the experience I had with my wife – we gave birth at home. That was so powerful, so intimate, so life-changing. We have grown a lot during that one day. And after that experience everything is a piece of cake. We would be very happy to share this experience with anyone interested. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe that the most interesting for hosts would be to hear our story. Other than that, we would be very happy to hear out your stories, your ups and downs, whatever that bothers you. I know that a short stay is not a perfect choice to reach intimacy, but nevertheless, that is what we're aiming for. :)
