About Me

I think I'm a laid back kind of person, I just like to take it easy and don't worry.
I hitchhike often and I like it when you have no idea where you are going to end up in the evening when you wake up and everything just falls into place somehow. And at least so far I survived every challenge.
I want to see many more places in this world and try to learn from people and collect new impressions and just experience.
But I'm also really happy just drinking a beer with friends and playing cards or whatever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been hitchhiking a lot, couch surfing seems like the plus version of that.
Not only because it's for free, that's a pleasant side effect, but you can meet a lot of interesting people from around wherever you are, and that's how you really get to know a place, through the locals.
Also I've made really good couchsurfing-experiences before, just not via this awesome platform, having the time of my life in strangers kitchens and living rooms.

Interests

I love music and think there's good music in almost every genre, also I do martial arts, and I'm trying my best in drawing as well.
Also I could spend hours with a guitar.

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot of music, really, and always open to new suggestions.
Sadly I'm not the reader I used to be, but I'm working on that. Love both fiction and nonfiction.
I could debate about movies for hours, not that I know names of actors and stuff, but I just really like good movies.
Donnie Darko is my all-time favorite, I've seen it about 20 times now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living with 15 roommates in Nicaragua was pretty amazing. Plus swimming with a shark and jumping down 130m on a bungee rope.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could give you a lesson in juggling if you're interested.
Otherwise we cook a lot together at our flat and even host (normally Sundays) a very very informal "presentation" where whoever feels like it can tell us about his topic of choice or hold a workshop.
Basically a lot of fun and beer in the kitchen with friends.
