Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I normally hate to make lot of plans in advance of a journey, to read through thousands of tips and comments on the internet only to end at the places where all the other tourists go. Rather than to see all the famous sights of a place, I want to get to know the local people, have good conversations, hang out together and make new friends.
