About Me

Hey! So I have just recently moved back to Katowice, I used to live here before for a year, then took a break and lived in Krakow for a year, but I'm back... will see for how long this time.

I'm a cheerful guy, I have some CS experience and I've hitchhiked a lot in my life (I stopped counting after about 20000 kilometers). I like to be active, but I'm a weird mix of and introvert and and extrovert so sometimes I tend to just sit at home doing nothing for a long period of time, while other times I want to hang out with people and just keep talking all day long.

I work Monday to Friday 8 hours a day. Currently I work from my apartment so you can come and go as you please, but I might have to go to the office sometimes. Keep that in mind and if you expect to hang out 24 hours a day then it might not work out. My job is rather chill tho, so it's not like I'm going to kick you out at 7AM or anything, I just might have to hop on a call or two sometimes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for people to hangout when traveling, always happy to meet and share experiences with open-minded people. I think it's the best way to meet interesting people and spend some time with locals. I can sleep literally anywhere and I'm happy with just being offered some place on the floor :). I might be traveling with a tent so even some space in your backyard could be enough.

Interests

I love landscapes, I'll choose a mountain over the city 100% of the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I went through a lot of genres of music in my life. Started with rock, went through metal and punk, a bit of soft electronics and a lot of rap. Nowadays I listen to pretty much anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked to Italy and got a ride from Bologne, Italy to Brzesko, Poland on the way back in 2016.
My first plane trip was 10000 km, from Poland to Cebu (Philippines) with mid-landings in Istanbul and Manila, took over 30 hours one way with the commute.
Hitchhiked 3400km around the Balkans in 2017.
Hitchhiked 7500km across Canada from Vancouver to Toronto through Montreal and many many more in 2018.
After that also hitchhiked around Romania and Bulgaria in one trip , then Mallorca and Cyprus in another 2 trips.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can give some tips about hitchhiking. I'd love to exchange some crazy travelling stories while drinking beer.
