Hi! We are Mariya and Tony J! We graduated in May from college and are currently traveling through Europe and Asia. We’re starting our trip off in Kazakhstan and then we’re off to Russia, Copenhagen, Germany Austria, and many others. We would love to stay with locals along the way to meet more people and get to know the cultures of these beautiful countries better!

I (Mariya) am from Kazakhstan originally and my husband Tony is from Tijuana, Mexico. We met in college in Reno, Nevada and haven’t looked back since! We love to cook a great meal and have some laughs over beer.

I love Crossfit and yoga and Tony is a yoga instructor and practices Ashtanga yoga, as well as loves to skateboard. We both love to hike, camp, Boulder, and adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through my experiences with travelling I have found that the most memorable experiences all have one thing in common- hanging out with locals and meeting awesome people abroad. In an effort to gain more of these experiences, I am Couchsurfing.
