About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To prove to the world that we´re really all the same, in flesh and blood, but different in ideas and experiences, which makes it all the more interesting to be social human beings.
ABOUT ME
I am an extraverted introvert. I love traveling, languages, music, and art. I'm a certifiable museum nerd.
PHILOSOPHY
Have fun at all costs. Well, not at all costs per se, But you get my point.
You live and learn, and every day is a good day. Every experience is a learning experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have yet to host, but was saved by couchsurfing in Peru. I fell sick and was taken in by a wonderful person who lived in Ecotruly Park, a Hari Krishna monastery. I lived with him and other devotees for about three weeks while I recovered. I get lots of couchsurfing messages from people passing through New York City and Syracuse, asking for advice or to hang out. I love couchsurfing!
Interests
I love ... in one word, art.
In more: video, photo, story-telling, animation, music (I play bass guitar), painting, designing, nature, and architecture.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I listen to everything you can imagine, from Italian gangster-rap to Chinese metal. I have a soft spot for Eurovision. I managed an alternative college radio station, and currently DJ for an FM station in Syracuse.
Some of my favorite bands are Gogol Bordello, Cut Copy, Children of Bodom, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Jarabe de Palo, Marina and the Diamonds, Diane Birch, Soda Stereo, Amy Winehouse, Manu Chao, and Kino. I love going to shows.
I also listen to A LOT of radio stories, from shows/podcasts such as The Moth, This American Life, and Radiolab.
Books: My alltime favorite is The Master and Margarita (Bulgakov) and anything by Haruki Murakami. I love O. Henry, Kurt Vonnegut, and Dostoyevsky. My guilty pleasures are cheesy sci-fi/fantasy novels. Actually, they are the bane of my existence because once I start reading one book, I will not stop until I have read at least 5 more. Books are like drugs.
Movies: I am obsessed with animation. I love Pixar and anything by Studio Ghibli. Recent favorites: La Femme Nikita, Submarine, Bridesmaids, Hearbreakers (the French film, not the American one!), Mermaid, Amelie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hitch-hiked through half of Peru. I got to Chiclayo in a pineapple and a rice truck, got robbed of all of my things that same day, and ended up living in Peru without my passport or money for three weeks. I was on Peruvian television twice, on the news for being assaulted in the street. I met a lot of amazing people, and learned that I'm not really afraid of anything anymore.
