Freshly back from some super excellent travel-time in Europe (mostly based in Berlin, with jaunts to neat-o spots), I'm planning to settle back in Toronto. But first, I'm headed to the west of our lovely country for some mountain-time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Always had a great time when close friends or partners hosted CouchSurfers, and recently had my first (great) experiences surfing in Tenerife and Budapest

Languages (speaking, analyzing, puns, I love it all), zombies, cheese, horror movies, riding my bicycle, good food (both making and enjoying)

Music, Movies, and Books

Ooh, this is always a tough one to summarize, isn't it? On the movie front, I love horror, silly action flicks, and documentaries. Musically, I'm open to just about anything, but my favourite stuff tends to be excellent dance-able bass-heavy fun, classical, and opera. (Rather different parts of the musical spectrum, I know!) My favourite book is A Prayer For Owen Meany by John Irving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the city burst into a firework frenzy on New Year's Eve in Berlin was absolutely amazing!

Another recent wow-moment was hiking the Ruta de los Volcanes in La Palma. A 360 view from the top of a volcano, above the clouds, able to see three of the other Canary Islands... Wow.
