ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Marja, nice to meet you. Basic information would probably be: human, female, 19 years old, student of cultural sciences, vegetarian, smoker. Done with the official part, now the fun stuff: i spend most of my money for travelling, which drives my parents crazy because i still havent done my drivers license. In general i'm the type of person that never stays home much, one day of not doing anything is more than enough for me. And while i'm out i tend to meet random people, usually tourists. I'm especially successful at that after a few drinks, when i get really talkative. Other than that I love literature and films but not very fond of art. Except modern one. I love city life but also couldnt live without escaping to nature on short terms. I'll stick to Andy Warhol's: "The world facinates me." That pretty much says it all. I function better at night and I can be very cranky in the morning but don't take it personally, I will cheer up in an hour or so. I always like to try as much new things as i can (except if its morning or it involves eating meat). Although I'm not always very successful, I'm usually having fun and i guess thats what matters. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cant offer you a couch at the moment (but I'm working on it), still I'd love to show you around Ljubljana or my hometown or give you any kind of advice about cool places and other travelling stuff.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed twice (well once i didnt really know that the guy i'm staying at is also a couchsurfer) in Ireland and both times it was amazing, because i got a totally different view on the place i was staying at (opposed to sleeping in a hostel). And there's nothing better than a warm, home cooked meal and a good talk with a local in the evening.
