Overview
About Me
I'm Marjorie but my friends call me Marj or Marjo or MJ.
I live in Paris, a city of history, love and art.
I'm always (I have to insist: ALWAYS) listening to my musics and podcasts, and reading all sorts of book.
I love sharing good laughs, food and wine with friends.
Random fact: I absolutely love ice skating. Thing is, I actually don't know how to ice skate. You can even say I'm a disaster. The one who's going to teach me is not yet born (so many tried and failed). Yet, I love it!
Don't hesitate to text me, even for recommendations about what to see and where to eat in Paris (or France in general) or elsewhere, or if you have great addresses to share too!
Please read the description of my place before sending a request.
Fun fact: I don't like when people criticise Paris or France in general because they repeat some dumb (and fake) information they found on the internet. As a general principle, consider that people may not act, speak and think like you, especially when you cross the border of your country. Be tolerant, please. 🙏
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I haven't been in here for quite some time, but I recently hosted a couchsurfer and it reminded me the great spirit of this community.
So I'm here to reconnect and meet people through travels.
NB: I'm on couchsurfing to connect with travelers. Some of the most beautiful people I know are couchsurfers, that's how I met them, and I can't wait to meet more of them. That being said: Couchsurfing is not Tinder, and I'm not here for that. Thanks in advance for respecting that.
Interests
Other than reading, listening to music and podcasts, I love History and could talk/learn about it for hours.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all sorts of music, and my favourites are the ones that make me feel and dream.
As for my favourite movies, I love Mamma Mia (yes, ABBA), LOTR, the Hobbit... (and as I'm writing this, I'm thinking about watching it again)
I don't really have one favourite book, because it depends of the type. However, I have a especial place in my heart for the Perfume, from Patrick Süskind.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One thursday, I realized that I had nothing planned for the weekend, so I went shopping, bought hiking equipment and a train ticket. Next morning, I was leaving for a 3days hike in the High Tatras.
I had such a great time and met good people there.
