ABOUT ME

Hey, my Couchsurfing friends. So, my name is Marjanca (actually not really often Slovenian name, but it looks like my parents like old Slovenian names). I'm open, quite talkative and communicative person. My friends say I'm the polar opposite of my twin sister. She's more calm and quite, while I'm energetic and I always have to do something, otherwise I feel "useless" and losing time. I really enjoy travelling, meeeting people, discovering other cultures, habits, ... The thing I also like is cooking. So, I can prepare you some typical Slovenian dishes. ;)
I am studying law.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I like all kinds of books except science fiction (I don't support Harry Potter kinds of books) :D I like reading classical literature, especially Russian authors. One of my favorite books is Crime and Punishment of Dostoyevsky. One of my favorite authors is Isabel Allende.
Music: everything except heavy metal.
Movies: Schindler's List, In time, Life is beautiful, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, La piel que habito, Todo sobre mi madre. Almodóvar.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to cook some Slovenian dishes, show you some typical parts of our region (Idrijsko-Cerkljanska region, Western Slovenia), teach you some Slovenian words, ...
I believe exchange is the best option to gain knowledge. While travelling I'd also like to improve my English, Spanish and Russian. :)
