I'm a woman of 59 years old. I like to meet people from other cultures and to visit countries. Some months ago I was on a 11-days dessert journey by camel in the Sinai. In a week I'll go to explore Iran.

I'm curious what couchsurfing will bring me and I hope it makes it more easy for me/us to get in touch with people. For example I'd love to find a/some person(s) willing to give us a cooking workshop to learn more about the Persian cuisine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and meet people. Hosting people offers me a opportunity to meet people without travelling. Since I have spare rooms since my children left home I like to contribute to the community of couchsurfing.
